Behind the Scenes

When not working, Mary can be found gardening; walking her Muppet-faced pup Satchel (yep, named after Satchel Paige because we are a baseball family); binging the latest Netflix series (but mostly just rewatching Schitt’s Creek yet again); hanging with her hilarious husband; making apple crisp; and being a full-time mom to her wondrous tween/teen kids who are growing up entirely too quickly. Just don’t ask her about middle school math — it’s not a strong suit, as it turns out.

While Mary strives to maintain a queer-affirming and anti-racist practice, she acknowledges that there are times when referrals to culturally competent members of one’s own community are what is needed. She is always happy to assist families in finding the support that fits their needs best.
